Our Work process

PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Review
What do you envision for your home? We discuss the scope of work, your time frame and budget or investment range. We collect the architectural plans, inspection reports, and any other pertinent information you have. Visiting the property helps us evaluate any challenges and the project’s possibilities.
Proposal
We review the drawings and consult with our subcontractors and suppliers and plan the work to be done. We submit a clear, detailed proposal for your consideration and assist you with any decisions that impact the cost and scheduling. This allows you to keep control of your spending plan and timeline.
Permits
After entering into an agreement, we apply for building permits. We also prepare detailed schedules, material checklists and purchases orders. We collaborate with any design professional you have hired so that all team members are on the same page. We check with the building department to expedite the approval process.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE
Breaking Ground
Construction begins. Our teams works through each phase of the building process, obtaining all necessary inspections and approvals along the way. We use our experience and creativity to make the process as smooth as possible, and to ensure that your vision is successfully realized..
Weekly Planning Job Site Meetings
We meet weekly—more when required—to review the week’s work and plan the upcoming tasks. If there are any scope changes or unexpected findings, we discuss them with you and work out common-sense solutions. We keep track of any revisions and document progress in our cloud-based management software.
Closing Out and Warranty
We set up final inspections, complete any punch list items and obtain the Certificate of Occupancy. The warranty period starts then. We turn over final documentation to you and have the pleasure of welcoming you into your amazing home!
